WHAT'S MOST RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR SOUND

For me, I call it the Hip Hop Triangle - I've said it many times...If it wasn't for Primo, RZA and Pete Rock...that's kind of like my sound... moodiness of RZA, boom bap of Primo, mixed with the soul of Pete Rock mixed in one record and the base of this pyramid is Marley Marl...it's funky, it gets you involved."

Frankenstein | PodJerky Interview July 2020.

We were fortunate enough to have Frankenstein drop in and talk about his career, life, music and what to expect from him in the future. Many people have been wondering what this legendary music producer was doing all these years, what he was up to and why he vanished from the music scene......we got the full scoop! This interview was one of the most interesting and in depth talks we've had up to this point. Franky Ano keeps his feet firmly on the ground but his gaze is ever upwards, searching outward towards the stars, hoping to one day find that magical beat that will complete the journey of life.

Frankenstein shares stories from his many travels, stories that haven't been heard before. We talked about industry shows he attended early on in his career as well as his recent collaborations with a certain legendary Toronto rapper he's known since high-school.

All the images used in our blog posts are hand picked to help visualize elements of the story, personal experiences and journey of the artists. Frankenstein's in depth analysis on music, Hip Hop, people and how it relates to life and spirituality and our connection to each other was just one of the many outstanding segments  to this amazing interview.
